Camera Gear. Post your setup!

The one advice (although primitive) but for travelling i have used my gopro and selfie stick... Me and the wife often use that for selfies as we once gave my 60d to a random person to take a pic of us and he laughted and said no!!

Since then the gopro and selfie stick has been invaluable!

Ah yes, I used the GoPro a lot on holiday as well - even on top of the rental car, amazing quality and good fun under water as well.

The A6000 is for enthusiast and has much better features for an advanced user. But the A5100 is just basically a point and shoot that can be used in av or tv or manual much more simple, smaller and have a rotating touch screen.

I have thought about the go pro, but I don't shoot video but a lot of stills… can't see myself using it as a camera apart from maybe the above suggestion.

I never buy from uk for that reason. Prices are insane. I buy everything from digital rev, I've bought countless gear over the last 8 years, free import with you within 4 days and a full worldwide 1 year warranty. I had a problem with a lens and they sent it to CPS had it repaired and sent it back to me turn around was 4 days brilliant service they have an office in the uk now which is really helpful.

Saved £1200 when I bought my 5D and 3 lenses.

Depends on how much it will cost for the equivalent lenses in FF. Also the 5DMKIII is half the speed but twice the IQ.

Currently jessops has the 5DMKIII at 2229 body only and the 7DMKII at 1599 body only so 630 difference for that you could buy a nice piece of glass.

dont they clobber you with import duty anyway / I imported a slalom ski binding 360 quid and got 75 quid tax on collection
