It may be a very familiar site for BMW people but I just ran across it recently and thought I'd share in case it is not well known.
This first link is generic BMW...many models. Not all links are still alive.

This second link is Z4, E85 specific. The link I am including is the first chapter in the book. If you want to save (or just view) the whole PDF book you will need to open each chapter (left hand column in the gray colored area) to open and/or download each chapter as an individual PDF...at least that is how I did it, there might be a easier way.

BTW, the E85 book is dated 2002 so all pre-facelift.
Personally I download and save stuff like this PDF as sometimes they disappear from the web if you just save the web address. I download to the computer I am using and then copy to a removable storage device to have a copy in case my computer crashes.
