Camberley to Newbury, which route?

Am doing this this morning, which route is best to get some good driving roads?

I used to do a project in Swindon so I know all the routes well. I would not go direction London first though from where you are and certainly not take the M3 due to the roadworks and crawling traffic. The 54 minutes option looks the best to me and is also the most relaxing I would say.

To clarify this statement - that is 2 cars in front of him and 2 cars behind him and he still manages it ...

Best route by far ( more than three years commuting from Swindon to farnborough) is yately and up through to the m4 along the a33.

Nice bits of twisty stuff and some carriageways and then some really bad motorway as there are roadworks between Newbury and Swindon and its down to fifty with averaging cameras.

There is a route along the A4 from Newbury but it's a pain.
