Camber plates & coilovers?

Does anyone on here have coilovers and camber plates?
I am looking to lower the Zed, but I am wondering if it makes sense to add camber plates in the front to avoid rubbing with my CSL's... Is it worth looking into?
Anyone have any pics?

Yes I do mate, it's not as complicated a thing as you think.

Get them fitted then get alignment done at a place that understand suspension. They can adjust for you.

Are you using gen csl or replica

Did I read something about using the BMW strut tower reinforcement plates when using camber plates??

Might be wrong, and happy to be proved so, but I'm sure it was suggested they should be used due to the lack of give in camber plates and the soft metal used in the strut towers.

Anyone?

No to the tower reinforcement.

Bad, with Reps, you should have a less aggressive offset than OEM so it's not really necessary but most decent coil overs come with them so make use to get a good road setup.

Like I said, its not complicated but a good alignment centre that has experience with fast road and track cars will make the most out of it.

I run a modified version of Z4M and CSL setups with minimal camber upfront and 2 degrees rear.

Handles like a dream and not excessive on tyre wear

offset is the same as the actual CSL's though.

Apparantly camber plates are also an MOT no-no in Belgium... :x

Hmmm to be honest on the front you should be ok without mate.

If you do fit with, just cover the strut with a cap.

Thanks for the advice, but I probably won't go for camber plates, I don't want to take them off for each MOT...
