has anyone had this fail or issues? what were the symptoms?

in particular
error Nr 10087..... 2767 camshaft sensor:signal time
Nr 10092 .... 276C camshaft sensor outlet: phase position
Nr 15391 .... 3c1f camshaft sensor: output signal
nr 15390... 3c1e camshaft sensor: input signal

so pretty obvious its got an issue... is it easy enough to replace or more involved?

Yeah

John next door had this with similar codes

V simple to sort- if I recall one of the cam position sensors needed one of the vanos solenoids removing to get to it- but not complex

been watching a few vids... deffo nothing challenging. was a bit worried might need to do timing or something.

do you know what his symptoms were... read about slow starting, misfire, sluggishness which i've had hence looking for a problem.

Takes longer to crank before it starts is a sure sign of a duff inlet camshaft sensor.
Only replace with an oem brand sensor either Bosch or Seimens do not use cheap unbranded sensors, you will end up paying twice.

any idea if sensor b is exhaust or inlet side. symptoms would suggest inlet ... googling this is worse than dr google
