Calliper Refirb

Morning all

When I undertake my servicing work shortly and have the wheels off to do the pads and brake fluid I want to do something with the callipers that look a bit tired !!

Anyone have any refurbishment tips or experience, paint or coating that can be used etc ? I don't want to fit those tacky stick on covers :(

If you are capable then remove them completely and have them blasted and powder coated with all new pistons and seals. Otherwise get a drill with wire brush attachment to clean them up, then get some high temp caliper spray from halfords or similar and give them a few coats of your favorite colour.

Another option is biggred. Remove them and send them in for the work. In fact i think they may even offer a drive in service if you are local...
