Calling the Sussex lot

Have just secured a new job today, only drawback being it is in Hove :!: After training it should be split between home/office but for the first few weeks I need to find somewhere cheap to stay to save the commute. Any ideas/recommendations for cheap & cheerful BnBs to stop me piling the miles on the Z?

I have put up people in the David Lloyd club but that is in Eastbourne, but with the corporate rate it was cheap.

The bad news for you is that you pass my house ...
 
Doubt if you'll find a particularly cheap B&B in Hove, you might get a discounted rate during the winter but Brighton & Hove is a popular short break destination and has two universities so cheap accommodation is scarce - and if you find it, you'll probably find that it's somewhere you wouldn't want to park your Z

You might find that a room-only deal somewhere like Travelodge is cheapest but, unless you pick up on one of their offers, I doubt it'll be less than about £45/night during the week and more at weekends. I'm sure PVR would let you camp in his field for half that ;-)
