Today has been the day the roof has gone back on!
Car was cleaned, roof looked at with auto glym cleaner and toothbrush was used to remove the green stuff starting to build up under the bodywork
Also while the top was drying I attacked the engine bay with some degreaser so that's looking a lot more presentable now :)

So have I jumped the gun or are we all putting our tin hats on?
 
I usually wait another month or so ..... Still hoping for a few more days of roof down action :D

At least another month for me. October can throw up some great weather days to take advantage of.
Still take it off in the depths of Winter if there's a good day.

need a chance for some dry weather to dry the top and then get someone to give me a hand before i can put mine on
 
Hehe... here in AZ, it's almost time for 100% top down weather. This should be the last week of high 90 degree (30-35 degree C) weather. From then on it will drop to the 80s (25-30 C), then 70s (20-25 C) and hold there through winter and spring. My top should spend the next 8-9 months down :D Upside to the desert :tumbleweed:
 
sorry to disillution you all, but putting the roof on does not make it look like a coupe
 
I don't think anyone mentioned the word 'coupe' lol
Calm down taz I didn't start this as an attack coupes thread :cry:

That being said it'll prob end up being that haha but wasn't started for that

A coupe with a hardtop on would look pretty silly though :rofl:.

I'm not planning to put my hardtop on until at least November.
 
Not putting mine on just yet. If October starts looking a bit crap weather wise, I'll pop it on.I too am hoping for a few nice sunny days before winter arrives.I love the look with the top on, I think the cars look great.Quiet too!!!!. :D
 
Nowadays I store the hardtop on the car, and take it off when I'm out for a drive :oops:

Hardly drive the car now though
