Calling our continental members! European Tour ideas?

A friend and I are thinking of doing a bit of a driving tour through Austria, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, South France etc in a month's time or so, and I was wondering if any of our European members could recommend any particularly good areas to stay/visit, or roads to take in on our trip etc..

I seemed to remember a while back now (last year?) there were photos on here from an Italian Z4 meet... I did a search but couldn't find them. Would be great to meet up with one or two other Z4 owners on our trip!

Oh, and sorry for not being on here much recently. Other priorities have taken over and I haven't had a lot of time to spend on the forums.... hopefully I'll be able to get posting a bit more regularly again soon! :)

I've been doing Euro driving holidays for nearly 10 years now.

I did quite a comprehensive review of my trip last year (tho I didn't have the M then).

Great thread that! Has given me some more ideas/inspiration... :) Any good resources you know of on the 'Net for finding some of the Alpine routes and must-do passes?

Everyone always lists Stelvio, but it seems it's not one of the best drives, but technically is very impressive...

What a great read.

Looking at doing something similar next year, finances and wife permitting (well both are the same, given she'll still want her normal holiday)
