Hi!

I'm moving some radiators in my house, which are currently connected up using 8mm microbore copper piping, which I want to replace with 15mm PEX.

Are couplings like this suitable or is there a better way to do it?

Also up for hearing any other general tips/words of wisdom. Never done this before, but I'm fairly handy

Nothing wrong with that Greg, just remember you need metal inserts and olives for the plastic pipe going into the compression fittings you’ve shown. :thumbsup:
 
Surely a professional plumber answer would be:

A sharp intake of breath followed by..."surry maayt, it'll all 'ave ta coom aht an' beh replaced wiv new stahf, as wot yuuv got don't meet the current stannards."
 
Firstly... don't use speedfit......use polypipe. They will have suitable reducers. If you can remove all of the small bore pipe right back to the main F/R's. use copper for the tails from the floor to the rad...because it looks terrible if you don't.... :D And use inserts....
