Caliper Season

It would seem that literally everyone has taken the opportunity to paint their Brake Calipers during lockdown. I wondered if anyone had simply polished them with a rotary tool...not to a mirror finish (which I have seen and is mental) but just to a cleaner factory fresh look; protected perhaps with some Swisswax Autobahn? (I'd prefer mine to remain dark grey so if I were to paint them I'd try to find a nice carbon grey colour though I did paint the hubs Silver)

Those lacquered ones look nice.

Mine were a dog with rust (just bought) so had to wire brush them down with drill. Came up nice. I was going carbon grey but amazon cocked up delivery so ended up painting them with hammerite silver which I'd bought to do the hubs.

As it turns out I'm glad I went silver as looks oem (even though silver isn't oem!)

Pleased with the result.

Yes and did get a bit excited with the blue, but as we run EC7 and ARC8 wheel sets I wanted to liven up the vast space behind the framework of these wheels as mounted on the coupe which is nightblue in colour. Was gonna go for the black, but the POR10 blue is the same shade as the M blue, and neither red or yellow rocked the boat, so blue it was on the bigger 335i calipers. More pix following once fitted, may be some time, as its taken me six months to get this far :D

That's more the look I am after. I don't want to draw attention to the Calipers. Cheers
