Caliper refurb - what colour? Decision made and done!

off topic, can't see it properly but I think I like the rear spoiler

It's the ACS spoiler.

I like it, though I would say not as nice as the carbon lip spoiler some people have.

Re. colour I did think about white but I think I am set on that M blue with silver lettering.

What about some nice lairy acid green accents like the 918 edition 911?

Or gold a la JPS lotus?

It is tempting, however, I'm like to ensure that whatever colour I choose "ties" to the overall colour scheme/other colours already in the car. Hence the blue/silver being preferred.

That's going to look great with the grayish/titanium wheels, pics when done please

Saw a chavy silver/grey lupo today with Kermit green calipers and I hate to admit they looked superb :o

Thought I would revive this thread as I have just received a picture of (one of) the refurbished calipers ... before and after:

AP_calipers_refurbed_med.jpg

Should have them all back tomorrow (fingers crossed) and the car can start to get back on the road ...

NB my web hosting is due to go down for maintenance this evening so if the pic disappears, that is why.

Holy s**t!!! That is amazing work!! Can't believe the before and after shot..

+1 although how did the before picture get in that state to begin with :P

I agree, shocking aren't they ... I suspect someone tried to paint them by hand.

very nice .. very very nice...

howeverat this type of price point id much prefer to see parts like the cross over tube and associated bolts left unpainted as it comes from AP... the new colour looks beautiful and on you awesome looking car, these will really stand out.... my enamel red ones have gone a really deep red after a-few heat cycles still look as good as new so im hoping they last for many years to come....

nice choice OP...

installed pics please
