Hi im currently replacing my front discs and pads , the supplier has mistakenly given me 300mm discs whereas i have 296mm,apparently i can upgrade to the 300mm if i can get some e85 3.0 caliper carrier brackets , hoping someone has a pair they would like to sell and could help .
Thanks in advance Anthony

Not sure what’s happened with your dims but something is off buddy. Assuming you’re talking about fronts only and not rears, the smaller engines come with 286mm discs. And the 3.0 comes with 300.

So far as I know you can’t just mix and match callipers to whatever carrier you want. They’ll come as a set so if you need the 3.0 carriers then you’ll also need callipers too.

I have a set of 300mm front carriers from my previous E85 which I took off to upgrade to 330D brakes. I can let you have them for £25 delivered.
I also have the 300mm front calipers if you need them, let me know.

. That would be great how much do u want for calipers and carriers delivered ? Also do u think it would be possible just to use larger carriers and use my original calipers?

Realoem states that the same caliper is used on the 2.2 286mm front brakes as is used on the 3.0 300mm brakes. I have copied the links to both models below.

Well I stand corrected. Very interesting they use the same caliper and just a different carrier.
