Calibrating the Steering Angle Sensor?

My E86 pulls to the left slightly when you release the steering wheel. Wheel alignment is good. Also noticed that the steering angle is -5 degrees (5 degrees to the right) when driving straight. Putting 2 and 2 together, I think the left pull is the steering trying to center itself.

How do you calibrate the steering angle sensor?

How can your wheel alignment be good if your wheel is off centre?

Take it for a proper realignment before doing the steering angle sensor recalibration- otherwise you are building more errors into the equation

Calibrated the steering angle sensor using the instructions at the end of this thread:https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=130939&hilit=Inpa&start=15

It has fixed my "pulling to the left" steering problem.
