Just booked this up. Not done many UK trackdays over the last few years as seem to spend all my time at the 'Ring, but want to change that this year. Only done Cadwell once before. Would be good to get on track with a few other Zs from the forum and catch up with a few old faces! :)

Link to book is here:

Admittedly it is a Friday, but it's Bank Holiday on Monday the 5th, so why not have the Friday off, make a long weekend of it, and get some track action at the start! :P

Could possibly drive up the night before and get a few beers in (not too many mind!) etc. Happy to look at options if a few people are interested. I'm likely to do this anyway as it's not round the corner from me.

That's a cheeky price! Maybe because its the Bank Holiday weekend?
We must have got a really good discount last time. Doesn't fit in with the work schedule at present. Great track

It looks like a good deal to me as this one is open pit lane with free tuition. The one we went on was 20 min sessions and the tuition cost £25.

I would love to do another Z4 track day this year.

I'm tempted since I realised I get 4 track days a year under my insurance policy with Classic Line. However I think I might do a couple of novice days first. I'd be worried I'd get in the way, unintentionally block someone, or something similar.

Surely thats what the tuition is for OG?

I guess so but I reckon the majority of drivers wouldn't be novices and so the tuition would be for people who already knew track etiquette etc. The first proper one I do I don't want to be constantly looking in my rear view mirror worrying I'm holding up some GT3 RS otherwise I won't enjoy it as much! There are some novice days at Bedford most years and so I reckon I will go on one of those first to build a bit of confidence/experience.

See I'd be a novice too but I'd be thinking 'Ive paid £170+insurance etc for this so I'll do what I want'. lol

As long as you keep right on the straights and let people past you'll be fine.

I would love insurance with track days included but I just can't find any. It's criminal to waste them if you've got them ;-)

Guys - as Z4 Coupe says, it is ok provided you follow the guidelines. Take the first session easy to learn the track, then gradually let rip. You will have a fantastic time of it, Cadwell is a great track

Also a good excuse to post a pic of my last trip around there :D

I am with Classic Line and get unlimited track days. I did 20+ over the past year. Just make sure you tell them before you go and they will email or post confirmation of your cover.
