My guess is that your laptop is windows 7 64 bit, inpa won't work on this, the best way to install to get all software running in on a windows xp version.

It's possible to get it working on 64bit Win7. There are threads and instructions on the BMW coders website. I found that site after hitting that exact problem and googling for an answer.

Thanks, I've found a guide on the disc but its a bit out of my depth, I'm getting there slowly, at the moment I'm mounting an iso using something called daemon tools? I have no idea what it is but I'm just following the guide the best I can :)

Okay completely out of my depth. Anybody close to the Huntingdon/Peterborough area ill pay £50 to finish the install? Lol

Hi all,

Looking for recommendations on which cable to buy.
eBay offers a lot of options but some don't mention E85 compatible.
Do I really need an E85 specific cable or can I go for a generic one?
I want to use NCS Expert to code a few things on my 2004 Z4.

Thanks in advance!
