Cabin recirculation intake

Could any one advise where the intake is when the cabin re-circulation is activated

I've tried activating it and putting hands near vents under dash but cant feel any where where the air would be pulling in

cheers, still couldn't see where it actually pulls in the air from, im presuming its foot wells seems to be in other BMWs and Minis

Pages 6 - 10. There's a flap.

There are flaps on the back of the filter housing, can be seen when the filter is out.

cheers so it doesnt pull air from a specific area, its just from behind dash?

From the document that's what it looks like along with circulating fresh air via a timer type setting.

Why do you need to find it anyway should maybe have been the first reply?!

I have some air con cleaner, where it sprays towards the recirc vents and kills off any bacteria, like when bmw use the wynns but in a can
