Hi all. Does anyone know the correct cabin filter, manufacturer part # for this? I've seen some posts where the filters purchased are incorrect yet advertised as fitting the E89.

I bought this genuine BMW one for exactly the reason you are stating, but to be honest, you still have to cram it up in there to get the bottom cover back on!

You find a range of oem filters including Mahle which bmw use at much cheaper prices are AUTODOC.

I’ve used them a lot, fraction of the price of bmw marked products with most of bmw suppliers on there..only flip sides are
Need to be very careful when checking part numbers and searching real oem is useful in this..usually go for the latest version of a part that fits your car
Postage overhead, I but a few items at a time to ameliorate this
Typical 5-10 day delivery ...not helpful for urgent items..
Overall my go to place..
