I was board last night so decided to have a giggle and do some rear silencer bypass pipes . Found some 22mm stainless with 1.5 mm wall thickness .Bent it in pipe bender but left it 370mm centre to centre . Drilled 23mm holes before and after box . The reason I left it 370 is when you drill tight to the box the wall thickness of the metal is nearly 10mm and will eat your hole cutters so side to tips in tight and before box just through 2mm pipe easy to drill. Welded pipe to top of box so nice and secure .....naturally the 4 studs broke in the manifolds ,pain in arse so red spanner out and replaced ....
Have to say cost me nothing to do and when I took it for a blast was so surprised at how good it sounds , not over the top and no drone .......win all round .
