Well I had a moment of madness a couple weeks ago and thought I d test the water with selling my z4. Once I d written the ebay advert though I was of the mind that it was exciting times ahead - a whole world of automotive possibilities being opened up. I didnt bother checking into the options for the first week but then a guy asked to come and have a look, as you would expect loved it , left a deposit and then it was sold! :(
Transaction completed today and my z4 is off to a new home :( it was emotional watching it being taken away.
The lad who bought it is genuine and I pointed him in this direction - has good taste as well - he liked my red alloys, but did mention that they ll prob soon be black!
Have been looking online for hours every night for last few days for a replacement but cant find anything good enough to fill the void.......
So for now it ll be the vxr thats getting the miles piled on it!
Ill just have get my fix from hanging around the forum :thumbsup: This has been the only forum I ever joined (z4s 'll do that to you) but have loved being an active member of the club and will continue to admire all the great cars and ideas thrown about.
 
another will come along even better.i no nwhat ya mean ,i have always wanted a 911 but having a m roadster dont no if i have the guts to get rid of it :thumbsup:
 
Well, least you know where to go & what to look for if you decide to buy another

all that time doing the seat conversion!!!

this what the forum is all about!

will prob (but not definately :evil: ) be a four/five seater next - my baby boy is now already a toddler and unfortunately a sports car is out for next few years........... maybe :wink:
 
I'm in exactly the same situation (although I have a need later in the year for extra seats...). Currently carless and no idea what will replace the Z4 - nothing fully floats my boat at the moment so I'm making do without. The only thing I'm driving at the moment is the campervan, not exactly thrilling :(
 
its always sad to see a nice car go but the joy of finding something else often replaces it.... until you spend months trying to find a replacement and nothing good turns up

vxr's are nice cars and i always rate vauxhalls above fords anyway

Personally I was looking forward to the green wheels :(

However, things change, and you'll find something that gives you the James May tingle eventually :thumbsup: ... ///M3 has four seats :evil:

As said, stick around for the banter - maybe take on the role of forum mad mod design consultant :thumbsup:
