...hello Z4M!!!

after three months of looking I finally found my Z4M. Its a 2007 with 29,000 on the clock with extended nappa leather and the carbon leather dash. I really wanted to hold out for one with the Top Hi-Fi but the extended leather and BMW warranty swung it for me on this one. I'm looking at retrofitting the hifi (possibly not OEM) and cruise as these were the only two bits missing. It also has the factory rear spoiler which I wasn't keen on in the photos but love it in the flesh.

I wanted to say a big thanks to the members who helped make finding the right one a pleasure and no thanks to the dealer in Wakefield who made me travel on an 8 hour round train trip to see a complete dog!

I picked the car up last Thursday and have been grinning like an idiot every since! The daily commute is even fun again...

I still can't get over the difference between the 3.0i and the Z4M and the engine noise is way too addictive!

Haven't taken any decent pics as too busy driving it but here's a couple snapped with the iphone:

I've already fitted the GapTech one touch which is great and have ordered the Zeckhausen modified CDV.

I'm looking to change the stock alloys to either 19" CSL's or the M6 Alloys. I've seen lots on the CSL's but has anyone fitted the OEM CS Wheels? As I understand it they are identical to the CSL's but without the weight saving. I'm keeping the stock alloys for track days so the weight reduction doesn't really matter to me.

No, you're wrong. That is NOT a massive step up from a 3.0i It is NOT utterly drop dead gorgeous and the performance is NOT totally awesome.

I simply refuse to accept it - I've only had my 3.0 a few months and I simply CANNOT start thinking about an M so all of your opinions are clearly wrong.

Still, at least it's not in my favourite colour...oh hang on...

yup, i'm the proud owner of 2 zed's at the moment...the buyer is a mate of mine who has always lusted after it and is on holiday for two weeks so i've got both! i drove the 3.0i yesterday to get it cleaned before he comes back from hols - i want it to be as perfect as it was for me when i first got it and TBH a bit sad to see it go (although will see it pretty regularly), especially as this same mate brought my old Z3 off me and promptly wrapped it round a lamp post! I'm sure the M will make it a bit easier not to miss it though...

You obviously weren't driving the 3.0 properly :poke:

Very nice motor, looking forward to w̶r̶a̶p̶p̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶i̶t̶ ̶r̶o̶u̶n̶d̶ ̶a̶ ̶t̶r̶e̶e̶ having a go, although I second Taz's comments about having the wrong roof. :rofl:
 
Nice pics! Still never seen that dash finish in the flesh - looking forward to touching it :o
