Bye bye Leadsom?

Showing her lack of experience here. Would have thought the journalist has a case for defamation as Leadsom accused her of gutter press when she word for word said what was printed.

I guess that will be the end of her then.
Showing her lack of experience, but only in dealing with a biased Murdoch reporter from a very pro-Remain newspaper trying to do her as much harm as possible!

Did his job then.

I would hope so. We need Theresa for her experience at ministerial level.

10 years and fifteen court cases to deport Abu Hamza, yep that's what we need strong leadership

Don't put the blame on her, it was the "institution" we are about to leave that was the main contributor to the delay!

That's true, the same ''institution'' she voted to remain in :!:

May was originally for Brexit but changed her mind, was it pressure from above??
I think May will make a good PM, June and April aren't to bad either :P

Do we really want someone who changes their mind to suit their position on the greasy pole?

Anyway, how many of those who are spouting off on here will actually have a voice in the choice of the next PM?
(PS I will  )

I would vote for Andrea, no brainer really

She is certainly easier on the eye than May

How very dare you - what a sexist statement - and not true - there's something about Therese that turns me on

very strong woman - I remember Brodie Clark , then Head of the UK Border Agency ,attempting take her to task for constructive dismissal - she saw him off . She also took on the Police Federation over reforms - was booed at their conference - whether you think she was right or wrong she had the courage to stand her ground . We need someone with her strength.

So, do you have a say in the outcome or are you just another Remainer spouting off?

No I'm not a Conservative Party member so don't have a vote - I did vote Remain and still believe that was the right choice but accept that we will now leave the EU by democratic process - however just because the Leave contingent won the vote doesn't mean the new PM should come from the Leave camp - the person most qualified should negotiate on our behalf - such remarks like " another Remainer spouting off " doesn't help to heal the massive divide that exists in our country. That is my opinion as I have a right the same as yourself.

Not quite the same right as I have say in choosing the new PM but you then, you don't have any say do you, so, as far as I'm concerned, you're just another bad looser spouting off! :poke:

I will have a say and will not be voting for a May, you can continue to spout off but it will have no effect on the outcome I'm glad to observe!

I'm sure you realise I was talking of a right to an opinion - your final comments just illustrate how hard it's going to be to get us all united.

Anyway as an old codger I'm tired and am now going to bed - feel free to insult me I shan't get upset. night night

Good night. I will use my vote to elect the better leader to take us out of the EU and will leave the disgruntled minority who lost the referendum to carry on mumbling their discontent! The next PM should not be someone who wanted is to remain in my opinion and I will not be influenced by the angst and dirty tricks of the remainers.

The only opinions / votes that now count are those of the people who will decide the outcome, thank God!

Indeed! Defines Theresa.perfectly but not, thankfully, Andrea. :)

As was mentioned on twitter during the week about May and the other one.... If given the choice which of your bollocks would you want cut off?

That's the choice facing the tory members who vote with their strings being pulled by Murdoch whether they realise it or not and the BBC will pretend to be impartial after all it's the BBC!

UK is fucked, Europe is laughing, Pound in the shitter, prices will rise as wages get cut.

I've checked all my pockets and have found ZERO fucks that I could give on which of these two Tory c***s becomes the last PM of the UK and the first PM of England and her Empire!

And did those feet in ancient time, Walk upon Englands mountains green and all that s**t.

That's really good, talking about remainders dirty tricks. It was the brexit 'dirty tricks' that got us into this awful mess, promises of £350 million a week to the NHS and kicking the immigrants out.

Come on now - the Remainiacs also attempted lots of dirty tricks - like trying to link the Jo Cox death with Brexit, like Project Fear (remember the emergency budget that Osbourne's no longer decided was necessary for example), like the US trade deal? I could go on (and on) - there was some piece of rubbish coming out every day.

I think May though will be a better leader than Leadsom. Didn't Leadsom say fairly recently that leaving the EU would be a disaster? Something she's now trying to put distance from rather unconvincingly. I'm not sure I completely trust her, whereas May (although pro-Remain) hardly campaigned vigorously and was rumoured to be wavering between Leave and Remain before official campaigning started, much like Boris was. She's also a tough negotiator, determined, level-headed and will make a fine P.M.
