 Bristol M4/M5
A lovely set of freshly refurbished BMW M6 Style Rep wheels. These will fit and look lovely on many cars, especially a BMW Z4 (E85 or E86). They look absolutely mint.

Specs are 8.5 x 18J ET38 and would ideally take a tyres size of 235/40/18 front and 255/35/18 rear. (all 4 wheels the same)

I'm looking for £350 Wheels are available for Collection from North Bristol BS32 or can courier for £40, if I can get some boxes.
(Also happy to take a deposit and hold until CV Lock down lifts to enable collection)

Any past cracks or welding carried out?
Better pics of the alloys up close. Looks like in PIC 1 they are covered in webs?

My current setup is:
225/45/17 and 255/40/17

i dont think the rear will be an issue but these alloys will require a front tyre which is slightly wider. Wondering if that will be an issue putting on.

A standard 18” Z4 front wheel is 8Jx18 ET47. These are 8.5Jx18 ET38
Basically they’re 12.5mm (1/2 inch) wider.
That 12.5mm extra width sits 6.25mm wider either side of centre
These wheels are ET38 so sit 9mm further away from the hub/suspension strut so 9mm less the 6.25mm means the wheel will actually sit about 2.5mm further out giving a fraction more clearance from the strut

The outer rim will sit 15mm nearer the wing but that shouldn’t cause any issues and I provides the look most people aim for by using spacers as it fills the arch better.

Put the above figures into Willtheyfit.com and you’ll get this

Obviously your 17” tyres won’t fit these wheels regardless of width as they’re only 17” diameter

Oh for sure I plant to get rid of my run flats and replace with non-RFs

So going by that useful site these will sit out a bit more. Is that safe or will it effect anything or require I make some mods to the front strut area?

Question - any m-sport badges to go in that gap on the alloy below the center cap?
Definitely interested just trying to figure who I can ask to go pick them up with the space. Dont think they will all fit in my z4 2 seater

Sitting that little further out is fine. Being precise you could argue the camber will change by a tiny fraction but rarely does anyone bother to that degree.

You can get 4 rims in a Z4. Two in the boot, one in the passenger footwell and one on the seat.

I also have. 5 series estate so maybe able to work something out and possibly drop them anyway in the near future if not too far

I’ll PM you my phone number if you want to talk tomorrow

So conflicted as to how these will look on the car! The first picture of them on your car I really like, then the second picture i'm like hmm. I have a black e85 roadster.
