Buying my wife a car

We owned a Nissan note for 3 years, it was a superb family car, went back After the lease was up the start of The year!

We then bought the new shape corsa which I wouldn't recommend! We really want a note again and I have been looking around.. The one we like is 2006 and only 20,000 miles with only 2 dealer stamps in! So he has only serviced on miles not years! Would this put you off or not been as its only a note with low miles?

Thanks guys

Wouldn't put me off as long as the price is right - after all its not a Z4 and as its only done 20k miles its hardly run in. Nissans are well made and their engines are virtually bullet proof. check the VIn number through the dvla wedsite for all its mot history first though. I remember having an old Bluebird ( shows how old I am ! ) for 10 years that covered nearly 100k miles with no problems - never even used any oil and even the bodywork looked good- only ever changed the oil and plugs every now and again.

I would not worry about it, but change the brake fluid if it has been in there more than 2 years.

I wouldnt be too concerned with only 20k on the clock. Probably best to get a thorough service done next time if you have any worries

Just viewed it 3 stamps it's a 56 plate so late 07 4500miles, 08 10,000 miles,09 15,000 on dash says it needs it again in 4500 but there wasn't a dink, scratch on it. Interior was untouched and also it has never been on a motorway so no stone chips etc, it's just toodled around town for 5 years lol
