Looking to become an exclusive member of the z4m club - but where do I begin?

Apart from the usual FSH - inspection 1/2 history - mot history. Is there anything else which I should look out for? After digging about the forum all the zeds seem to be faultless. Just want to ask before a take a plunge and ends up costing me more for what I bargained for
