Wanting to print / frame a photograph but have not found an online place that will ship a frame with glass in it.

I have the jpeg, so want to pick a frame, size etc and upload the image - and have the frame sent to me. Size something like 70 * 50cm or so.

Any recommendations or places that do that?

Id say your best bet is to look locally- there will be framers that can provide exactly what you want and will take pride in their work.

There's a retired dentist that runs a gallery in our village Paul, he makes his own frames and is very very good at his craft. If you google 'Church farm gallery' in Baslow nr Bakewell in the Peak District and speak to Norman Tomlinson he will say if he can help you.

Does he do the photograph printing as well John? I have been disappointed in the recent on-line re-prints I had done of standard photographs which were very, very poor.

I would imagine the problem is the glass.
Picture glass is very easily broken and maybe its just not worth the hassle as things do get thrown around in the post.

Ah no he does'nt do the printing Paul. However have a chat with 'Wye photo gallery and prints' in Bakewell, they do the printing and framing.

Hi PVR you want to speak Genesis photography on Sulivan Road, fulham sw6. its where all the pro's go to get there prints done ive had a
few shots printed and framed there, no where else that I have used has come close to the quality that they have produced but they are not
cheap its not like going into snappysnaps

It is the print quality that I want to make sure is good, some online printing (famous) names have been very, very poor. Thought that by trying a more personal service, that I might get a better overall quality product.

Thanks for the recommendations, will check those out
