Buying EBC Ultimax + Redstuff

Is there a big noise difference between Ultimax and Turbo Groove discs?

I ordered some greenstuff with Turbo Groove discs but they are stuck in the UK due to the ash :headbang:

Yes - I assume so as the Ultimax are described as silent and they still drone, so expect that the grooved will be real noisy

i saw a link on the z-roadster forum for a set of BMW Performance 6 (or may be 4) pot caliper conversion for around £1000 (front), but the link doesnt work anymore...

does anyone know what the difference is between e46 m3 and z4m and z4 (non m) brakes? I ve seen a few set of 6 pot upgrades for e46 m3 csl for sale, just want to know if they fit the same

I don't think there is any difference between e46 m3 and z4m. Normal z4's have various sizes. Check the how-to section. There's a thread for a cheap brake upgrade. It details the various sizes across the Z4 range.

Turbo groove are a bit noisy, but no noisier than the assosrted rattles you get with the top down. Top up you can't hear anything.

thanks for the reply, i saw the how-to guide, i think mine (alpina roadster) are already the 3 ltr spec, thats why i was interested in the 4/6 pot conversion from the BMW Performance range
