Buying an Aston Martin DB9

wow thought my memory was rubbish opened CJ's other post on his mods and was surprised to see a white car rather than a grey one .... now i understand ... grey one went back and replaced with white one.... looks smart  love the wheel centres

I have contacted Trade's Description about this post..
I was expecting to see an AM, not a .... :oldman: Jagwaaarrr..... oh well, never mind. :P

Very nice cj..so what was wrong with the grey 1??

The wheels and aero-kit do really suit it,and i too have liked the xf's since they came out

Beautiful - I love this car in white, and the kit/wheels totally complete what is a gorgeous creation anyway. Not really relevant, but the police like these down my way - all the blue lights are super-bright LEDs, and hidden in the main light fittings, so there are no tell-tale grill or bumper bumps. Sneaky, but cool - they prefer the grey though :)

Take any large white 4 door saloon which has a 'coupe' look to it and at some angles they of course look similar. Do that from the rear quarter and they look totally different. The Insignia looks tall and narrow from the rear. I know - my next door neighbour has an Isignia.

BTW - this thread is an old one before I finished the mods. and I shoudl retire it off

I'm still not convinced: even from the rear quarters, lights and exhausts apart, I still see similarities.

To me, the roof of both of the cars look identical, the door height/proportions look similar, the front and rear overhangs are of similar proportions, the front wing to bonnet swage lines especially at the bottom of the A pillars,
I think they could be mistaken a before and after facelift version of a single model.
sorry, but its just an observation.
