Buying advice, which cab?

Boogle, even though fuel economy doesn't bother me that much in the purchasing decision, it's funny you say that the 3.0 is about as economical fuel wise as the 2.0. Since you've owned both, is servicing much more on the Si? What made you change up?

I haven't got to servicing yet, so couldn't say. I'm sure the extra 2 cylinders will add to cost though. I was very disappointed with the 2.0's mpg relative to its performance, and really, really wanted more performance. The 3.0 has been perfect for me so far :) The mpg is lower with the 3.0si, but the performance improvement is far greater than the economy loss. I've noticed the same problem with a lot of 'eco' cars. If you check the forums for eco cars you'll find loads of people complaining that they don't get anywhere near the manufacturer's figures. Yet lots of posts on this forum are praising the 3.0's economy. These lower-powered cars just need to be pushed harder more of the time, killing any mpg gains you could potentially get.
