Buying advice please?

hmm well after reading around this forum it looks like run flats are definitely not the way to go. Hmm... I should factor that in to the last one I found then.

Well, I have run-flats and I don't know any different, so seems ok to me - it is a sports car after all not a waftmobile.

waftmobile

well I will arrange to drive one and see what's what. I have driven a 2.5 without the run flats so should be able to make a comparison..

Have to ask....what is good about the screen. Seems very outdated to me and when not using nav there is very little on it ! Or am I using mine wrong ?

If you start worrying about run flats now you are never going to buy a car. Forget it, so long as the tyres are not square worry about it later. I like the sound of the latest 3.0 you have found.

haha well good point, I like the last one I found too. Its just the more you read about these beauties the more you realise you have to take into consideration. The way some people describe the run flats they make it sound like it ruins the whole car....

The screen just integrates better with the car, so when you play with things you have a proper display rather than a single line of block text.

Especially useful if you have Bluetooth etc, as you get to see your whole phonebook on the screen, I also get to read my text messages and emails also through the screen.

For me, it annoys me when it pops up like a lump of thick toast every time I touch the stereo controls. Would much rather have a smooth dashboard top,...might even have somewhere to put my TomTom then. To me it dates the car loads. There's nothing like old tech to tell you how old a car is...

sv44a,

Not sure if this link will work. But are you not seeing this thread with somebody selling a 3.0i for £8,500 ?

I know nothing about the car or the seller, but might be worth a bit of a read at least.

yay got my Zed! and I couldn't be happier. :D

Just want to say thanks to all those here that helped with opinions and suggestions, most appreciated.
