Buying a Z4

Hi all.
What better place to search for information can there be than an owners forum? None probably.
Having just quit Motorcycling, but still in the depths of my extended mid-life crisis. I'm thinking that what I need is a 3.0 Z4. Probably around 10 years old. Is there anything that I should be looking out for or avoiding? What should I be looking at paying for a motor with around 60-70,000 on the clock. I've looked on ebay, Auto Trader etc. There seems to be quite a lot of fluctuation in the price. I'm not looking for the cheapest deal around, just a good honest car..
Any information will be appreciated.

I think for that money you should get a good pre facelift 3.0se .
A few things to look out for are
broken rear springs
worn wishbone rear bushes
roof motors are a weak point
xenon headlight as the standard light are rubbish
there are plenty on auto trader for around 6k

Avoid the ragtops. Coupé ticks all of those boxes plus you get a useable future classic. Well, Taz is away at present after all..
