Buying a Z4 help needed

Hi

I took a Z4 3.0L for a test drive today and had absolutely no problems at all, the car felt fantastic and the engine pulled like a train. The car is also taxed till jan 2012 and the dealer will also replace the rear tyres.

however i have one concern and that is to do with the service history, or more importantly lack of.

The car is an 03 reg and has only done 25000 miles, it has only had one service in 2007 which was an oil change, the dealer who is selling it says that they will do an inspection 1 when they sell it.

Should i be concerned or shall i just use it to haggle the price down. it is priced at £9995 but the dealer said we could have it for £9690 without us even trying.

the car is at williams select in bolton if anyone knows any more info about it

Try and get in touch with the previous owner and find out more about the car,could be it had been stood and not done many miles or that the book has not been stamped.If the dealer wont let you have a look at the registration doc I would walk away.Price is on the high side 9k max if you are satisfied with the history.

I am selling my 2004 3.0SE 37k Huge spec, Nav, xenons, bluetooth + loads more. looking for £10,500 has full BMW history and doesnt need a service for 11,000 miles. looks perfect! will even give you a brand new MOT on it!
