Buying a Z4, guidance

So i have found this Z4
https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201709279724194?atmobcid=soc3

I believe it to be great deal with a low mileage, 2 female owners and mainline dealer FSH.

What should i be weary of?

Also what depreciation will the car have over the next 2-3 years?

If i do not buy this Z4, and i have a budget of £13k max, what are they key variables i need?

thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum Laurie.

I've not had an E89, but hopefully this might help:- http://www.carbuyer.co.uk/tips-and-advice/161950/used-bmw-z4-buying-guide-2009-2016-mk2

The one you have linked to looks hardly used - which has to be good news!

Plus I love the red leather, and it has the heated M-Sport seat and bi-xenon headlight options which are all very desirable as well as front and rear parking sensors - spec is great IMO.

I can't comment on price because as I said I've no experience of E89s, but that doesn't look dear to me given the mileage.

Good luck with your search. And don't forget the photos once you've found one.

I have only had my E89 for 9 months, only problem so far is condensation in the rear light, which I gather is very common issue,

As for depreciation, wet your finger and hold it to the wind :)

Nice car with low mileage, looks good for the money

Hi OP, the car has no Sat Nav I drive and is a manual, it’s an early six on the E89 so not very tune-able..

However if you prefer manual, not into electronic toys and don’t want to go quicker later it’s a good car...

Price is not that cheap...they are using the low miles to justify the price..

All IMHO....

It’s an emotional decision, if you like it when you see it then buy it..

There will be others out there but ...

Hope that helps?
