I'm going out today to check out an 03 Z4 3.0i, Automatic, Nav, 54000 miles. What are somethings I need to look out for on the car?
I tried searching the forum but came up empty. If theres a link to a thread with the info to answer this, that would be great!

Thanks for the advice and wish me luck!! :D

Just the usual i should think, accident damage, full history and check the tyres are good (expensive to replace)

Springs springs springs.

they seem to go somewhere around that mileage. find out if they've been replaced.

keep your ears open on the test drive

There is nothing weak on the Z4 to look for so it's the usual of panel gaps for accident damage
dents as there's a lot of exposed panels
Every single switch working perfectly as nothing is cheap to fix if gone. Seat memory aircon, hood motor running smoothly
Check hood condition and lining for tears
driver side bolster for wear
Look for a good service history
Kerbed rims

I beg to differ on the springs. You can't tell unless it is broken, hard to see, they are cheap to fix and don't really break that often.

Think about the extras you want/need and if it's not got them move on

Just got back from the drive...
loved it! Top has no leaks and moves smoothly, transmission shifts smoothly, no jerking or stuttering. Body is straight, no dents or damages. Seats were nice, radio sounded good.

He's listing it in Autotrader for $17500, but said he'd cut it down since Im a good friend of his. He's selling it cause the wife wants a new one! :D

Im having the vin run tonight, then going to the dealer (Jackie Cooper) where he bought it from to inquire some more since it was a CPO car.
