Hi,
I am looking to buy a Z4 and have been surfing all the car sites to find that perfect buy...well just when I thought I had found it, what I had found was in fact a pretty good scam...luckily I prefer to view my vehicles before buying no matter how good they look online.
The advert was posted on Autotrader, a 2006 Z4 Roadster 3.0si high spec with 40k on the clock priced at just GBP6540 (should have known then!). When you contact the seller he doesn't answer, but instead sends you message with an email address. The car was initially advertised as being in London, but after contact he changes the address to Scotland. After some back and forth on email he states he will advertise the car on eBay, which will allow you to purchase the vehicle securely and he will arrange delivery at his cost after you have deposited the cash into eBay's account. This is where your money goes missing as the account does not belong to eBay.
The seller presented himself as Thomas.
Good shopping.
Cheers
