Hiya chaps. As i mentioned at a thread a long time ago the M had the CEL (Check Engine Light) turn on, when i took it to the dealer (mind you it's out of warranty) they said it's the catalytic converters and i have to get new ones. Rubbish, i was convinced the fault lay with the fragile Oxygen sensors as endlessly documented on this and other forums. He assured me the car would still run fine so i opted not to do anything about it then. By the way when i brought the car in again last week to install my RPI exhausts they run diagnostics again and told me that "everything is OK except for that O2 Sensors' issue you had last time." Oh, so now it's the O2 sensors as i originally told you? What happened to the "destroyed catalytic converters"?
Anyway the car did run fine since, apart from the occasional hiccup when cold, until yesterday when the stuttering became a lot more pronounced and would just not go away even when the oil warmed.. It was practically undrivable at anything under half throttle, press harder and it runs just fine like normal. I'm fairly convinced the exhausts are not to blame here and it's the faulty Oxygen sensors messing up the ECU (please correct me if you think i am mistaken) so i've decided to buy a set of these ones right here. Part number 11787540167.
I've found several websites that sell them but both the US and UK one's dont ship abroad. Any recommendations for a website that sells them and ships them to Europe? Anything else i should have in mind regarding the matter? Specialised tools i need to get? Other parts?
