Buy in Autumn sell in Spring - not sure

On roadsters this is the well versed manta... but i'm not sure... i bought in mid april and having been away a couple of weeks thought I'd have a look on pistonheads etc to see where the market had gone.

if anything it seems to have softened .... 200 cars available on pistonheads compared with 130 ish in march/april. prices seem to have softened slightly too.


I wonder if because it is such a well worn piece of advice it ends up being counter productive as the buyer gets more choice..
 
Prices have been all over since autumn 08... dipping loads, then bouncing back loads in the summer of 09, and so I'm not even sure what a 'right' price is right now.

I'd just drive it and enjoy it for now... by and large they will depreciate less than most metal of £10,000 > £15,000 value of a car this age :)
