Butyl tape & Door card clips

Hi,

Looking to finally sort out the ingress of water coming through the bottom of my passenger door.

For anyone who has recently sorted out this issue, can you please provide links to some suitable butyl tape for the door membrane and the actual door card clips. just in case my heavy handed workmanship breaks any along the way.

Not sure about the clips, but I wouldn't bother with the tape. I got some but it could not hold the membrane in place along the bottom front edge.
[ref]bigwinn[/ref] suggested I try Tec7 sealant as, in his words, "It could probably seal a black hole".
Works brilliantly!

Thanks for heads up on Tec7, states it works underwater so should be ideal.
 
I heated up the old seal and used that, as I attempted it before I got new tape. It seems to be holding up well at the moment.
