Button on the grid

Couldn't be happier for Jenson - a part of me feels he should have told them to stick their offer where the sun don't shine after all this prevaricating over the last weeks

The only thing to ruin the 2015 season now is if Sky stop the inclusion of Sky Sport F1 HD in the HD package.

^ +1, don't give sky any ideas, their monthly package is already daylight robbery!

Looking forward to the Alo/JB battle, I like Alo but he's an team insider political mover so hopefully JB will be on equal terms next year.

After all the reading of the articles today about Alo and no doubting he's one of the top drivers, surely Hamilton is due even more respect for his first season in F1 being teammates with Alo...

Anyway, roll on March 2015 :driving:

Bloody hell I was panicking for a minute then until I saw response from Sae

They already have stopped it. You just keep it if you got the hd package before they removed it.

I had it with hd, then cancelled hd and then they decided to remove sky sports f1. Now I have to pay for the entire sports package.

Rip off merchants.

Good news but I'm worried that taking a reported 50% wage cut isn't going to have an adverse effect on his performance - you know - worrying about paying bills and all that. (only £6million/year now) :?

We will see how he gets on with Mr.Honda! Honda been a mixed bag over the years with some brilliant success at Williams and not so good with BAR. OMG - wasn't Jenson there and a bit critical of the engine? All is becoming clear! :poke:

With that sum in the bank I think he'll cope - delighted he's in it for 2015 - what made F1 so good this year was the number of world champions battling for places - glad it's going to continue and we all get to wear Pink for Silverstone

When he beats Fernando next season, he can ask for it all back in 2016.

I hope JB had a win bonus in his contract @ £2M per race should cover it

Sorry I didn't know that. So it's an extra now?

You need to get the Sky Sports Package now as a new customer to get the F1 channel.

Yeah I've got the Sports package and F1. just didn't realize they'd stripped it out at some stage - or have I really missed the point by a country mile
It's been a long day :)

No it's just a few years ago you only needed the 'HD package' to get F1 which was fairly cheap whereas now you need the full Sports Package....which ain't so cheap!
