Replaced both rear wings and front nearside due to corrosion bubbling through, still on the lookout for an offside front wing. Quite simple to replace really and much cheaper than repair and respray. Happy bunny. :D

Yes, a touch on the surface. Car was first registered to someone in Redcar and the sea air has got to it a little bit.

More pictures and how to guide please!

I’ve got a little bit of rust showing along the rear bumper joint on one rear wing so I’m interested to see what is involved with removal and/or to what extent the rust may have hold already!

So can you please clear up the dispute as to whether or not the rear wings are purely bolt off/on or if there is any welding invloved in the swap out ??

They are just bolted on Alan.

Did you replace them with genuine wings or aftermarket? Need a new n/s front wing for mine, but all the breakers ones have dents in or large chunks out of them.

Bolt on, only difficult one it the one that is accessed from under the roof fabric.
Remove parcel shelf and remove bolts around perimeter of roof, lower roof to half way and remove seal trim around body opening then remove bolt from underside .
Remove rear bumper, rear lights and surrounds, remove side skirt and trim cover on B pillar.
Remove Ariel, single bolt in centre underneath in boot.
Remove boot lid strut and unbolt boot lid.
2 bolts where bumper clip is
1 bolt where skirt clip is
2 8mm nuts under the B pillar cover.
3 bolts along top under hinge.
Protect paint edges then lift up and out.

Fit new wing and reverse.

Thank you OP
Many people have said there is a weld whilst others say it is a merely sealant bond.

Usefull to know it is perfectly do-able with just spanners
