Busy few weeks working on my M/// update page 3

Hi

Thought I'd share my busy start to the year modding my M. Absolutely loving the car so far. I had a 3.0 Z before, the M is the icing on the cake :)

Sold my 3.0 a week before Xmas, I was amazed with the amount of inquiries I had. The car sold within 4 days to the first buyer.

So what have I done so far......

Aero skirts
OEM rear spoiler
Bypass pipes 22mm diameter on exhaust back boxes
New brake discs on the front
Pads front and rear
Eibach lowing springs
Starter motor
New battery
Ignition switch
Split the headlights and painted black
Paint front grills black
Paint door mirrors black
New trim round the windscreen
CDV delete
New style M6 alloys, then repainted
12mm wheel spacer on the rear.
And the all important stubby.!!

Still got more stuff to do yet.

The wheels were a bold choice ( sure they will split opinion ) I spent weeks looking at all sorts of wheels. Almost went with CSL's but wanted something a little different. I'm so glad I followed my gut instinct. I absolutely love the look of them on the car. For some reason the insides were grey, so I had to take sand paper to a brand new set of alloys. That was pretty nerve racking.

Not had chance to take any decent pics yet. Car needs a good clean and wax yet.

My old z

New toy :)

Hope you like

Looks cracking mate! First split of opinion: not the wheels for me but overall you must be pleased and that's a lot of work for a short period of time! Keep at it!

Your efforts have not been wasted, the Z looks very good.Wheels I am not sure about, but it's good to be different .

You certainly haven't wasted any time.

Have you ever been pulled over with that registration plate?

Looks great and I really like the wheels. Very different. What else have you got planned if anything?

Not sure about the wheels but the rest of it looks very nice.

Pleased to read that you have been having such a lazy time - I see no explanation as to what you have been doing from 02:00am to 05:00am!

Looks good, you need to get those tips polished up though.

Wheels remind me of Porsche/transformers for some reason or other.

No not had any problems. Been ruining the plate for a couple years.

Few more bits to black out then strut brace and fluid changes all round.

Lovely colour that.

I think that rear shot is just M porn!!

I like the wheels I must say, not really one for non OEM but they do suit the car really well.

Split and paint headlights?! I have no idea why but good work buddy. I'm about to 'murder out' my coupe and get rid of all the silver bits. Who needs shiny stuff?!

Nice
Liking the wheels;)
Comparing car to mine haha
Rear spoiler I think makes rear look nicer and aggressive

Black mirrors, I've toyed with carbon ones hmmmm

I left my front grill chromed as think front is a bit dark otherwise

But liking car buddy:)
