Bust myself up pretty bad....

Don’t know you personally John but have enjoyed reading many of your posts on the Forum. Accidents happen so quickly and so easily. Mind you this is a pretty spectacular one. Hope you make a speedy recovery and the pain subsides quickly.

Really sorry to read about this John!

Although it reminds me why I really don't like going up ladders.

Wishing you all the best for a safe and speedy recovery.

That is some serious damage, at your age that will take a while. You will have to leave the manuals for a bit and stick with the boring auto boxes you have hanging around.

Bet that was a "oh sh!t" moment when you were heading down.

But of course, all the best with the recovery though. Probably drugged to your eyeballs now though.

Blimey John, that’s some serious pain your going to have for the immediate future, but it could have been much much worse. Get someone else to do those things that at your age a too risky.

Get better soon honey x

Oh dear, avoid laughing, coughing, constipation, sneezing, vomiting, smoking, sexual exertion, basically you're in for some pain.
Take up crocheting, jigsaws or other similar sedentary hobbies.
Oh yeah, brandy and port mix helps.
