Business Trips That Should Include Hazardous Duty Pay

Well if I went that route, I'd have to get ahold of a new copy of ms flight sim, then I'd have to plug in my HOTAS setup, then I'd have to grab updated software for my HOTAS, then actually find a map to use for the software that I could be comfortable with. Besides I think the longest MS flight sim ever kept me occupied was a day or two. It just gets boring so I make it up by trying to do barrel rolls with every plane. Now Falcon 4.0 AF on the other hand....that was a kickass game.

I know some Navy guys that will tell you that this is the most difficult airport to land on.... :P

That's not the most difficult... calm seas, headwind, clear skies - piece of cake :P

My guess it that this is Beef Island, Tortola, BVI

That doesn't look like Wake Island, bro.

Somewhere in Asia I suppose - those folks are nuts with their infrastructure sometimes.

This one scares me. It looks like an island off the coast of San Diego, but that snow has me perplexed.

I don't care where this is. This pilot is just plain stupid.

The old Hong Kong Airport was scary. Facing a steep mountain. The final approach required a 60 degrees turn
at the very last second to align yourself with the runway or else you slam into the mountain. The runway lights
are litterally installed on the city houses. :o

Of course, at the end of the runway there is open sea.

Yeah, Kai Tak was awesome... seen some amazing pics of planes landing there with the engine striking the runway etc... crazy!

One of the most interesting approaches nowadays that I have been on is Funchal, Madeira. You fly straight at a mountain side and turn right (hopefully LOL) at the last minute! Very cool!
