I have this business navigation unit in my z4.
first of all it useless and the screen looks ugly and i dont even know who buys this brand new !
so my question here , can i buy a pro navigation and install it like plug and play or do i have to make tons of modification to have the pro nav work ?
I've seen a couple of retrofit threads but none of them had the business nav installed in the car. :-|
I need a navigation in my car anyways because i am new to Dubai and i lose my way all the time :roll:
Any ideas if i can get something that will look original but have better options ?? or can i fit the e89 unit in our car or anything like that ?
 
You can retroit pro nav but you will need to replace the existing unit and the dvd drive along with the loom (hens teeth) and screen.

best bet might be an android tablet in a screen housing. A few have done it on here so quick search should find them easily enough.

Do you really have to change dvd drive?
I have also business navi and dvd drive seems to be the same as in pro navi.

Nope, it's dvd.
Atleast mine is :) It takes DL DVD:s.

But retrofitting NBT is really interesting. I've been looking for F30 units.
