After reading a ton of topics on the forum I figure I will ask a few questions of my own. My car has the sports package and is sitting at around 53k miles. The car hasn't been doing anything that suggests anything is worn or bad. The other day though when I had the DISA flap changed the bmw tech said my bushings were a little worn. I'd like to upgrade the bushings anyways as it's been said this is a semi cheap suspension upgrade and gives a nice improvement.
I've decided to get the uhm poly bushings. What I don't know is, which ones to get/replace, how many, what sizes etc. I could of swore there was a thread where specifics were discussed, but I can't find it.
I'd appreciate it if someone could link me to the bushings so I can buy some. Is it a job I could do myself?
Since my upper strut mount's have that typical cracking I was wanting to replace those. I do see some KMAC stage 1 camber plates on Turner Motorsport and am thinking about these. However from what I've read this may not be a "first step" item, but I need to replace the front strut mounts and figured this might be a better option than OEM.
Is there anything else I should think about upgrading/replacing too in that general area (well suspension wise)? I'd rather not spend a ton of money, but I am open to any suggestions.
