Hi all

Question- on the E30's you could fit M3 lollipop bushes to the front wishbones- if I recall they were eccentric or offset making the steering a bit keener than standard

Can you do similar on the Z4?

Cheers

Stuart

I believe the short answer is "yes"

Pretty certain this has been done by others, I was going to go with M3 ones but ended up with polyed normal ones due to time constraints.

Yes can be done, the M lollipops have different mounts (an extra bolt hole) so just get the bushes and press them into your existing housings.they have an arrow telling you which way to fit them

I have the Z4M offset bushes and brackets fitted on mine - 2007 E86. Straight swap as far as I remember - no additional bolts. They do improve the stability. A bit more caster that gives better self centering. It is not a huge difference but I found it an improvement.

You're right it's the E46 that has the extra bolt

Good question & good info.
Let us know how you get on cos it’s on my endless to do list.

Tomorrow’s job for me is fitting a H&R rear ARB to my E85 3.0 si

Good luck

Likewise let me know how the H&R kit goes in as I may be tempted if it’s a noticeable difference
