Burned connector on tail lights help

I have a 2006 e85 z4

So I noticed my taillights have been going out and after buying new bulbs and sockets and seeing if that would fix it I found that the ground has burned the connector. Is it possible to just replace the connector and are the connectors from the 2003-2004 tail lights interchangeable with the 2006-2008 facelift taillights. I just need to know if the connector itself can be removed and if they are the same on the facelift and pre-facelift.

If it's the connector on the light itself then no, I don't think you can remove them. I had the same issue and had to buy new lights and a new connector for the harness end.

I know for some audis you can get the connectors on eBay
