Burned CD won't play.

I've been trying to copy my audio books to CD to play through the car radio, but I'm getting nothing. I was first using DVD-R with an error message. I went and bought a pack of CD-R, now it sucks it up but doesn't do anything. I am thinking its dealing with the type of files now-- these are all .mp3 files.

Mp3 files won't work any any Pre facelift car unless the head unit has been swapped for a facelift one.

What srhutch said... You'd have to burn the files as a playable CD. Probably defeats what you were trying to do though, I guess...

try a test...
How peculiar! I'd love to hear the story on how this is possible. Something about nav voice compatibility and pressure from music industry I suspect.

Get a different brand of disc and use a different application to burn it. 99% of the time this works. The other 1% of the time use a different burner.

Obviously make sure you are making a music cd, and not a data cd !
