Finally getting my front bumper resprayed today by Cooper BMW Ipswich.
I had a couple of stone chips that had taken the lacquer off. Nothing too bad but on my last service they power washed the car and it peeled the lacquer off quite a bit. So they agreed to pick up a bit of the cost (the VAT part) which I wasn't expecting them to do since it was the stone chips that done it.
It is going to cost me a bit more getting it done at BMW rather than a generic repair shop but I figured BMW should do a decent job. I will post some pictures up one the job is done.
I'm also going to get them to look at my drivers door lock that has fallen in (the outside lock that is). I will see what they come up with. I'm hoping if they do fix it I will still be able to use my current keys and not have to have a different key for the ignition.
In the meantime I have a 1 series courtesy car. It feels like driving a 4x4 compared to the zed.
