Bumper pad/guard/armour

Has anyone across bumper pads/guards/armour in the UK? I have seen these used quite extensively in the USA as well in France but never seen any in the UK.

The thought of getting one crossed my mind when I saw a Ford Focus reverse into and old Skoda while trying to get out of a parking bay earlier today (then just driving off, of course...). I really don't trust other drivers parallel parking and wouldn't mind leaving on of these on the front and rear of my Z while parked... Can't seem to find any UK retailers though!

Quite a good idea for minor knocks but these like door defenders seem to be an American thing. Like door defenders its claimed it makes people more careful around your car if they see these things fitted but I wander whether its an enticing invitation for some low lifes to deliberately nudge your car for the hell of it.

Hundred of cars in NY have these one. Bloody awful things.

They don't protect the corners either which is where you need most protection.
